What's the difference between Eczema & Psoriasis?

How does Eczema and Psoriasis feel?

Eczema: It causes an intense itch, so intense that it can cause your skin to bleed when scratched.

Psoriasis: Can also be itchy and can feel like a sting or burn.

The difference in appearance:

Eczema: Makes your skin red, inflamed maybe slightly scaly and skin may become pigmented.

Psoriasis: Also patchy, the skin is inflamed but if you look closely the skin that is flaky is much thicker compared to eczema.

Where do they appear on the body?

Eczema: Appears often on parts of the body that bend such as elbows, behind the knees. wrists, ankles and neck.

Psoriasis: Shows up on places like elbows, knees, scalp, face palms of your hands and even soles of your feet!

What triggers them?

Eczema: Soaps, Detergents, disinfectants, fragrances, dust, pets

Psoriasis: Sunburn, scratches, stress, food

Managing eczema and Psoriasis can be stressful as i know the feeling of wanting to calm the itching, the inflamed skin etc. So far, the fragrance free night face oil has really helped a lot of people who suffer with Eczema. Many customers have also been using this oil on other body parts such as their hands, legs etc.

With psoriasis, the Nourishing body oil is the best. This has helped calm my flares down by removing the itching and soreness. I used this every night after my shower and slowly massage into the affected areas. Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease, therefore it requires dedication and patience.
